Can be refrigerated for weeks. Freeze well in an airtight container for 6 to 12 months.
We harvested our own fresh Hachiya persimmons and dehydrated them into chips. All are done by hand-- picking, washing, slicing meticulously before drying in the dehydrator. This type of persimmons naturally contains astringent, so some may have a subtle aftertaste. However, the sweetness will offset everything.
The colors range from bright orange to dark orange. The darker the sweeter. They have a slight chewy like Gummy Beartexture, tangy with concentrated persimmon flavor.
They are undoubtedly a heaven sent snack--a wholesome snack. Also, a wonderful additional nutrition to your cereal/granola
