Zahidi dates are a very dry, chewy date. They have a lovely caramel taste. They are the common every day date that people of the middle-east love. We love them with popcorn and peanuts like healthy crackerjack.
They store well for emergency supplies. Zahidi dates store in a cupboard for months without refrigeration but will get dryer and harder with time. They will last 2 years with refrigeration and many years in the freezer.
We grow these on our small farm in Indio CA. We use regenerative practices which exceed organic. We never use chemicals of any sort, so your dates will be clean and wholesome.
